OnePlus Nord 5 series to launch on July 8

OnePlus is back with its affordable phones for the year. The upcoming OnePlus Nord 5 series, which may comprise at least two phones, finally has a release date. With the Nord 4 featuring an all-metal build, it was a stand-out device in its portfolio. Now, with the Nord 5 series, OnePlus appears to be focusing on performance. OnePlus Nord 5 launch date and key features

The all-new OnePlus Nord 5 series is confirmed to launch next month in India. The launch date is set for July 8, and we are expecting at least two devices in the series. This includes the OnePlus Nord 5 and the OnePlus Nord CE 5. Alongside these, OnePlus will also launch the OnePlus Buds 4.

While OnePlus hasn’t revealed all the details about the series. It has revealed the design of both models. This time around, both phones appear to have a solid build, featuring dual cameras on the back.

Both phones are expected to have a large, high refresh rate display offering a smooth scrolling and gaming experience. The Nord 5 is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and supports 144FPS gaming in BGMI and CODM. It will also have a dedicated cooling solution to manage the thermals.

The duo is expected to get a large battery and have fast charging support. The series may boot on Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 on top. It may also have 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS for connectivity.

That’s it about the features of the Nord 5 phones. As for the price, the Nord CE 5 series is expected to be priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 35,000. Upon launch, the series will compete with the likes of the Nothing Phone (3a) and the Vivo V50.
