Opera Neon is an agentic browser that can write code and create websites for you

We are officially entering the agentic AI era, and Opera is joining the bandwagon with its Neon AI browser. It is the Norwegian company’s latest browser that relies on cloud-based AI agents to do things for you.

That means you can get code written, generate reports, and build websites without having to be online. Intrigued? Here’s everything you need to know about the Opera Neon browser.

Everything about the Opera Neon browser

The Opera Neon browser is an agentic browser with three features. It can chat with you, do tasks for you, and create things for you – all with simple prompts. So, users can create websites, games, and also get the browser to write code for them.

Opera says that the browser can perform tasks even when you go offline. For this, Opera relies on cloud-based AI agents. Notably, Opera Neon also features Browser Operator, an AI agent announced in March. It lets users perform routine web tasks.

Other than this, you can also simply chat with Neon and get your queries resolved. It acts like an all-in-one AI tool. Notably, the Opera Neon browser is the company’s fifth browser, and it’s expected to be available soon.

However, details are currently slim. There’s no information about the pricing yet. Having said that, we’ll have to wait a bit longer to know that and also check its real-world capabilities. Those who are interested in Opera Neon can sign up to join the waitlist.
