Vivo just took the wraps off the X300 Pro in India, and it’s the brand’s finest camera smartphone yet. But how is it different from the Oppo Find X9 Pro? After all, both phones come with a similar set of cameras and internals.
They both feature 200MP periscope telephoto sensors and support a teleconverter lens to enhance the overall portrait photography experience. In this Oppo Find X9 Pro vs Vivo X300 Pro showdown, we compare the key specifications and features, letting you know the exact differences between the two.
Oppo Find X9 Pro vs Vivo X300 Pro: Design and display
While most of their specs are similar, the design is what sets them apart. This time around, the X9 Pro ditched the circular camera island for a more Reno-inspired squarish island. The X300 Pro, on the other hand, boasts the Vivo’s circular camera aesthetics that we all love.
Both devices have a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. The screen of the X300 Pro, however, is brighter as it peaks at 4,500 nits. The Find X9 Pro’s peak brightness is 3,600 nits. For protection, the X9 Pro boasts Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, whereas the X300 Pro supports Armor Glass protection.
In terms of durability, they both have an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
Oppo Find X9 Pro vs Vivo X300 Pro: Cameras
In terms of cameras, both have the exact same camera setup, i.e., a 50MP main sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide unit. The Find X9 Pro gets Hasselblad tunning, whereas the X300 Pro gets Zeiss-branded sensors.
Having said that, despite the same camera setup, expect different results. On the front, again, they both have a 50MP sensor for selfies. And they both can record 4K videos from the front camera. The rear camera of the X300 Pro allows for 8K recording, and Find X9 Pro lets you record 4K videos from the rear camera.

Interestingly, both support a teleconverter zoom lens, but it’s the Oppo Find X9 Pro that lets you shoot at 10x optical zoom. Vivo X300 Pro’s max optical range with the zoom lens is 7x.
Oppo Find X9 Pro vs Vivo X300 Pro: Performance, battery, and software
The Find X9 Pro and the Vivo X300 Pro both draw power from the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. That said, performance should be no issue.
The software, however, differs. The X9 Pro gets Android 16-based ColorOS 16, whereas the X300 Pro gets OriginOS 6, which feels fresher. Both, however, are feature-rich and offer cool AI features.
As for the battery, the Find X9 Pro takes the lead with a large 7,500mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The X300 Pro houses a 6,510mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless fast charging.
