Last year, Oppo unveiled the K13 Turbo series of affordable gaming phones in China, followed by an India release. Early reports suggested that the company might skip the K14 branding and directly introduce the K15 Turbo models. However, a new leak by tipster Digital Chat Station not only indicates that the next generation will retain the K14 branding but also reveals key specifications and a possible launch timeframe.
Oppo K14 Turbo series specifications (rumoured)
According to DCS, the Oppo K14 Turbo Pro will feature a 6.79-inch OLED display and will be powered by the Dimensity 9500s chipset. It is expected to arrive in multiple configurations, including 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB storage variants.
A previous leak suggested that the device could pack a massive 8,000mAh battery. The latest leak further claims that the handset will weigh around 201 grams and will be offered in colour options such as white, grey, pink, and a forged carbon finish.
Coming to the vanilla Oppo K14 Turbo, DCS states that it will feature a slightly smaller 6.59-inch OLED display. His earlier leak revealed that the device may be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
One of the key highlights of the K14 Turbo series is that both devices are expected to feature built-in cooling fans, signalling a strong focus on sustained performance. Both models are also expected to feature a 50MP main camera on the back. While this detail was not explicitly mentioned in the latest leak, DCS had previously claimed that the cooling fan system would also include waterproofing.
Oppo K14 Turbo series launch timeframe (rumoured)
DCS claims that the K14 Turbo lineup is tentatively scheduled to debut in April in China. For reference, the K13 Turbo series was announced in China in July and later launched in India in August. Based on this timeline, the K14 Turbo series could arrive in the Indian market around June or early in the second half of the year.
