Just as Oppo unveiled the Find X9 series in October, it is expected to announce the Find X10 lineup in the same month this year in China. Apart from the usual Find X10 and Find X10 Pro, the lineup may include a new model dubbed the Find X10 Pro Max.
While there’s no clarity on how the two models may differ from each other, a new leak has emerged revealing details about the chipset that will power these devices.
Oppo Find X10 series’ chipset tipped
In a recent Weibo post, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has hinted that the standard Find X10 will feature the Dimensity 9500 Plus chipset. On the other hand, the Find X10 Pro and X10 Pro Max may arrive with the Dimensity 9600.
The Dimensity 9600 will be MediaTek’s first 2nm chip designed to power next-generation flagship phones. As for the Dimensity 9500 Plus, it was initially rumoured to debut this March to power new flagship phones launching in the first half of the year.
However, its arrival has seemingly been pushed back and, as far as its specifications are concerned, it could be a 3nm chip and an overclocked version of the existing Dimensity 9500.
Initially, the Find X10 series is likely to include the above-mentioned three models, but the company may add more devices, including the Find X10 Ultra, next year. Rumours are rife that this device could be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip.
As is known, Oppo’s Find X-series phones are recognised for delivering a top-notch photography experience. The inclusion of the top-of-the-line Dimensity 9-series suggests that the upcoming models could offer significant performance gains while maintaining their strong focus on imaging capabilities.
Upcoming Oppo flagships
In related news, Oppo is also expected to announce a couple of devices, including the Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s Pro, and Find N6, in March this year in China. It is speculated that while the foldable phone may reach select markets in the second quarter, the Find X9 Ultra and X9s Pro could also arrive in India around the same time.
