Oppo has launched a new phone in the affordable segment, and it’s an all-rounder. Dubbed the Oppo A6 5G, the smartphone features a familiar design, a Dimensity 6000-backed performance, and a two-day battery life. Here’s everything you need to know.
Oppo A6 5G key features and price
The Oppo A6 5G boasts a modest look, but one that’s familiar with Oppo’s other budget phones. However, it comes in unique colourways, such as Sakura Pink, Sapphire Blue, and Ice White, making it stand out.
The device features a large 6.7-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 240Hz touch sampling rate and up to 1,125 nits of peak brightness for better sunlight legibility.
You get the Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. While cameras may not be its major prowess, it still gets a dual-rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP monochrome unit.

Up front, there’s an 8MP camera for selfies. The device packs a large 7,000mAh battery for up to two days of usage. There are IP66 + IP6+ IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance.
If you liked these features, the Oppo A6 5G will set you back by Rs 17,999, making it rival the CMF Phone 2 Pro and the Vivo T4x. That price is for the base 4GB + 128GB variant, but the higher 6GB + 128GB and 6GB + 256GB variants cost Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999, respectively.
