Oppo Find X10 may feature 200MP periscope telephoto camera

One trend expected to shape the smartphone market this year is the widespread adoption of 200MP cameras across different price segments. Oppo is one brand likely to make the most of this shift.

The upcoming Find N6 is said to feature a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, while the Find X9 Ultra is expected to pack a pair of 200MP cameras as part of its quad-camera setup. Now, a new leak suggests that the Find X10 will also include a 200MP camera.

Oppo Find X10’s first camera details emerge

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the standard Find X10 flagship will feature a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. However, the tipster did not specify whether the sensor will be sourced from Samsung, OmniVision, or another manufacturer.

Currently, the Find X9 features a triple 50MP rear camera setup, while the Find X9 Pro’s triple-camera system includes two 50MP sensors alongside a 200MP periscope camera. Although the leak does not reveal details about the Find X10 Pro’s camera configuration, it may continue to feature a 200MP periscope camera, similar to its predecessor.

Oppo is unlikely to reveal official details about the Find X10 series at this stage, as the company is currently focused on upcoming flagships such as the Find N6, Find X9 Ultra, and Find X9s. These devices are expected to debut in March in China, although it remains unclear whether they will launch together.

Oppo Find X10 series launch timeframe (rumoured)

The Find X10 and Find X10 Pro could be early adopters of the Dimensity 9600, which is said to be MediaTek’s first 2nm chipset. Based on the release cycle of the previous generation, the Find X10 lineup may debut in October this year, followed by a global launch, including India, in November.

Meanwhile, the Find X10 Ultra could be powered by the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset and may debut towards the end of the year.
