The Poco C85 5G has arrived in India as the company’s latest entry-level 5G phone. The phone comes with a massive LCD panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, a huge battery with fast charging support, and long software support. Continue reading ahead to see what the C85 has to offer to buyers.
Poco C85 5G: Specs and features
The Poco C85 5G has a waterdrop notch LCD screen measuring 6.9 inches. The screen offers an HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and 810 nits of peak brightness, offering decent visibility under direct sunlight. The display includes TÜV Rheinland Triple Certification with low blue light, flicker-free performance, and circadian-friendly features to reduce eye strain.
While the Poco C85 5G ships with the older Android 15 with a layer of HyperOS 2.0 on top, the device is promised to receive two years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates. It is good to see an entry-level phone being provided with such long-term software support.
Under the hood, the Poco C85 5G gets the Dimensity 6300, which is a staple offering in this price segment. The chip is paired with LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage and a massive 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and 10W reverse charging.
