Redmi has finally unveiled the Redmi 15C 5G, which is positioned lower than the Redmi 15 that debuted in August this year. Despite being an entry-level offering, the Redmi 15C 5G comes with exciting features such as a 120Hz display, a 50MP main camera, and a 6,000mAh battery. Here’s everything you need to know in detail about this phone.
Redmi 15C 5G: Specs and features
The Redmi 15C 5G has a huge 6.9-inch LCD panel offering an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For sunlight legibility, the screen offers up to 810nits peak brightness, which is sufficient for clear viewing. The device runs on Android 15, skinned with HyperOS 2. It is confirmed to receive two years of OS upgrades and four years of security patches.
Powered by the Dimensity 6300, the Redmi 15C 5G offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. There’s also a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage.
The Redmi 15C packs a 6,000mAh battery with 33W charging and 10W reverse charging support. For photography, it has a 50MP primary camera on the back, which is accompanied by an auxiliary lens, an LED flash, and an 8MP camera on the front.
For security, the Redmi 15C is equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Other highlights of the 15C include a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IP64-rated dust- and water-splash-resistant body.
Redmi 15C 5G: Price and availability
The Redmi 15C 5G has arrived in India in three variants: 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB. These options are priced at Rs 12,499, Rs 13,999, and Rs 15,499, respectively. Buyers can avail the device in shades like Midnight Black, Moonlight Blue, and Dusk Purple. The device is scheduled to go on sale starting December 11 through online and offline channels.
