POCO is gearing up to make a serious statement in 2025. The upcoming POCO F7 is shaping up to be a well-rounded powerhouse phone that takes on flagships at a fraction of the price. Launching on June 24, the POCO F7 aims to break free from the “performance-only” label of its predecessors, turning its focus to battery endurance, design, and versatility without compromising on raw performance. Here’s everything we know so far about the POCO F7.
POCO F7 to launch in India soon
POCO has officially locked in June 24 for the Indian debut of the F7, which will succeed the highly capable POCO F6. While performance is still front and centre, what’s turning heads this time is the massive 7,550mAh battery; a number that comfortably eclipses what most flagship phones offer. And with 90W fast charging on board, it’s both long-lasting and fast to juice up.
The secret sauce behind the mammoth battery? Silicon-carbon battery tech, which allows for high-capacity cells without bulking up the device. According to POCO, users can expect up to 2.18 days of moderate use on a single charge. Better yet, the battery is built to last, rated for 1,600 charging cycles with 80 per cent capacity retention, offering serious peace of mind for long-term users.
And just in case your earbuds or smartwatch run out of juice, the 22.5W reverse charging feature turns the F7 into a handy backup power source on the go.
What else to expect from the POCO F7?
While official specs remain under wraps beyond the battery and charging department, leaks suggest some serious flagship-level hardware. At the heart of the F7 is expected to be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, paired with 12GB of RAM; a setup that promises blistering speeds and multitasking prowess.
On the display front, you’re likely looking at a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel, with rich visuals and smooth scrolling baked in. Camera-wise, the F7 might pack a 50MP primary shooter paired with an ultrawide lens.

Design leaks hint at a dual-tone finish with a vertical camera module; likely a subtle nod to premium aesthetics while keeping the POCO personality intact. As always, the final details will be revealed at launch. But based on what we’ve seen and heard so far, the POCO F7 could very well set a new benchmark for performance-focused smartphones under a budget.
However, if you’re scouring the market for other options, consider the Realme GT 7, if you don’t mind spending a bit extra for a better camera experience, or the OnePlus Nord 4, at a similar price point.
