Poco is known for their performance-oriented phones that don’t break the bank, and now the company has done it once again with the M7 Plus 5G. The phone was launched this week and it’s practically a power bank with a screen attached. The device joins the M7 and M7 Pro. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
POCO M7 Plus 5G: Everything you need to know
Let’s get right to the main event which is the absolutely colossal 7,000mAh battery. Poco claims this is the largest power cell in its price category. It promises some wild endurance figures like 27 hours of social media use or 144 hours of offline music playback.
The phone even features reverse wired charging, letting you rescue a friend’s dying device with your own. When you finally do run it down, 33W fast charging gets you back in the game.
The brains of the operation is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Your content gets displayed on a huge 6.9-inch Full-HD+ screen, which the company also says is the largest in its segment. This display offers a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 850 nits. It also has TUV Rheinland’s stamp of approval for low blue light and flicker-free performance.

The phone runs on Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0 and Poco is honouring it with two years of major software updates and four years of security patches. It also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The Poco M7 Plus 5G will be available in India from August 19. The base 6GB/128GB model is priced at Rs 13,999, while the 8GB/128GB variant costs Rs 14,999. It comes in Aqua Blue, Carbon Black, and Chrome Silver colours. Launch offers include a Rs 1,000 instant discount with select bank cards.
