Portronics just dropped a new smart projector called the Beem 540, and for its affordable price, it packs flagship features. The Portronics Beem 540 is compact, supports 4K playback, runs on Android 13, and even has a built-in telescopic stand. Here’s everything you need to know about the projector.
Portronics Beem 540 key features, price, and availability
Most portable projectors need an external stand or a bunch of books to get the angle right. The Beem 540 comes with its own built-in telescopic stand, so you can adjust the height and angle without carrying any extra gear. Whether it’s your bedroom wall, the ceiling, or a quick setup at a friend’s place, it just works.
The native resolution of the projector is 720p. But it supports 4K content, so while you’re not getting full 4K sharpness, you can still stream higher-res content, and it’ll play just fine. The brightness is rated at 4000 lumens, which is decent enough for indoor usage.
It can display a screen size up to 100 inches, which is perfect for movie nights, gaming, or presentations. Interestingly, the projector also has auto-focus and auto vertical keystone correction, so the image stays sharp and aligned even if it’s placed off-centre.
This projector runs Android 13, meaning you get access to all the apps you need right out of the box. This includes Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and more.

In terms of ports and wireless support, you get dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, USB, and an AUX port. There’s also a built-in 3W speaker. But if you want better sound, you can always hook up a Bluetooth speaker or use the AUX.
Coming to the price, the Portronics Beem 540 is priced at Rs 9,499, and can be purchased online and offline across retail stores in India.
