Portronics Luxcell series power banks add some visual flair to portable power

While you can ensure you carry your phone charger everywhere, the availability of wall sockets is a different story. This is where power banks come in. These handy devices store enough power to charge your smartphones at least twice (or more times) and ensure your work and entertainment remain uninterrupted on the go.

Among the several brands which make this nifty little accessory, Portronics has recently launched its new Luxcell series of power banks. Here’s everything you need to know about the new series.

Portronics Luxcell series power banks launched in India

Portronics’s new Luxcell Series of power banks comprises of five offerings – the Luxcell Wireless 10K, Bind 10K, Mini 20K, Mini 10K, and the Luxcell 10K power bank.

1. Luxcell Wireless 10K

The Luxcell Wireless 10K is a 10,000mAh power bank compatible with devices that support wireless charging. It supports 15W Magafe charging and can be used with the iPhone 12 and later models, as well as most Android smartphones. The power bank has two ports – a Mach USB Type-A and a Type-C port, and can charge up to three devices at the same time, with a maximum output of 22.5W.

It sports a transparent casing and the device is BIS-certified, which means it has built-in mechanisms to ensure connected devices aren’t damaged due to short circuits, voltage, or current surges. The device comes with a Type-C cable.

2. Luxcell Bind 10K

Coming to the Luxcell Bind 10K, it is a 10,000mAh 22.5W fast-charging power bank as well and comes with two built-in cables – a USB Type-C and an 8-pin cable. The power bank also has a Mach USB Type-A connector, which allows you to charge three devices using the power bank simultaneously.

The Bind 10K power bank can be charged using a Type-C cable. Similar to the Wireless 10K, it is also BIS-certified to protect your devices against short circuits, as well as voltage and current fluctuations.

3. Luxcell Mini 20K

The Luxcell Mini 20K is a PD fast-charging power bank with a capacity of 20,000mAh. The power bank sports dual ports – a Mach USB Type-A port with a 22.5W output,  and a USB Type-C PD 3.0 Port, with a 20W output. Similar to many others from the Luxcell series of power banks, it sports a see-through panel and LED battery indicators.

4. Luxcell Mini 10K

The Luxcell Mini 10K is a compact power bank with a 10,000mAh battery and a partially transparent design. It is also equipped with a Mach USB Type-A port with a 22.5W output, and a and USB Type-C PD 3.0 port with a 20W output, which enables one to simultaneously charge two devices.

5. Luxcell 10K

The Luxcell 10K power bank comes with a 10,000mAh capacity and 22.5W fast-charging support. The power bank is compatible with iPhones, Android smartphones, tablets, and even speakers. 

Pricing and availability

The Portronics Luxcell series of power banks starts at Rs 1,099 and goes all the way up to 1,799. The base Luxcell 10K power bank is priced at Rs 1,099, the Luxcell Mini 10K at Rs 1,149, the Luxcell Bind 10K at RS 1,299, the Luxcell Wireless 10K power bank at Rs 1,399, and the top-of-the-line Luxcell Mini 20K is priced at Rs 1,799.

A few other options one can consider in this price range are the Mi 3i 10,000mAh power bank, the Ambrane Stylo 10,000mAh power bank, the URBN 10,000mAh 22.5W power bank, and the Croma  20,000mAh 22.5W power bank.
