If you thought the Realme 12 series concluded with the Realme 12/12+ and the Realme 12 Pro/Pro+, you were wrong. The brand has just launched yet another entry in the lineup, with the new Realme 12x particularly targeted at those who want a powerful 5G performance under Rs 15,000.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Realme 12x, including the specifications, features, and of course, the pricing, along with some other phones you can consider in the segment.

Realme 12X: What’s new?

The Realme 12x comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 950 nits, Realme is also calling the smartphone the brightest phone in the segment.

Coming to the cameras, the phone will feature a dual-rear camera setup. This includes a 50MP main camera, along with a 2MP secondary sensor. There is also a 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Other features of the Realme 12x include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IP54 water and dust resistance certification, a punch-hole camera cutout and Air Gestures support, which let you do some basic navigation on the phone using one-hand gestures, which can be handy in some tricky situations.

Realme 12X: Pricing and availability

The Realme 12x is priced at Rs 11,999 for the 4GB/128GB variant, while a 6GB/128GB variant is priced at Rs 13,499. The phone is available in Twilight Purple and Woodland Green colours.

The Realme 12x will be available later on this month from the Realme website and with leading retailers across the country. However, if the 12x is not for you, you can also consider the Vivo Y28 5G.
