For the past few weeks, Realme has been busy teasing its upcoming Realme 15 Pro. The company has been dropping specs, teaser videos, and all the usual pre-launch theatre. But now, with the July 24 launch inching closer, the spotlight is being shared by the vanilla version too.
Realme has quietly listed the standard Realme 15 on its official channels, and while the full spec sheet remains under wraps, a handful of confirmed details, combined with some compelling leaks, are giving us a fairly clear picture of what’s coming to these new phones. So here’s everything that’s known about the Realme 15 series so far.
Realme 15 series: What’s confirmed, and what’s (very likely) coming
Officially, here’s what we know. The Realme 15 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ chipset and will feature a display with a 144Hz refresh rate and an eye-searing 6,500 nits of peak brightness.
It’s slim, at just 7.66mm, yet houses a massive 7,000 mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging. Also confirmed is an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, and three distinct colourways – Silk Pink, Velvet Green, and Flowing Silver.

The rest of the specs? That’s where leaks and tipsters have filled in the gaps. According to one widely cited Indian tipster, the Realme 15 will sport a 6.8-inch display, a rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main and an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and a 50MP selfie camera.
There’s also talk of an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, a premium touch you wouldn’t usually expect at this level. Again, none of these extra details have been officially confirmed, so take it with a pinch of salt.
As for the 15 Pro, which Realme has been more vocal about, it will reportedly share most of its DNA with the base model, at least visually. The differences, according to leaks, come down to three key things. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, the ultrawide camera gets a boost to 50MP, and it’ll be marginally thicker at 7.69mm.
So far, no major changes in display, battery, or charging, which makes this an interesting play from Realme. Instead of drawing a clear line between Pro and non-Pro, the company seems to be offering two versions of the same core experience, tweaked slightly to suit different user preferences (or budgets).
With just days to go until the official reveal, this might be one of those rare phone launches where the “non-Pro” model ends up being the one to watch. Thoughts? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to Unboxed by Croma for the latest in the world of tech.
