Realme just launched its number series of phones for the year. The all-new Realme 15 5G and the Realme 15 Pro 5G come with impressive features, like a fast display and a large battery. But which one of the two should you choose? And what’s the exact difference between the two? Let’s find out in this Realme 15 vs Realme 15 Pro showdown.

Realme 15 vs Realme 15 Pro: Design and display

The Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro are both 5G phones, and they look exactly the same. Realme went for a cleaner design this time, which includes a rectangular camera island on the rear and a 4D curved screen on the front.

Both have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a fast 144Hz refresh rate. The brightness peaks at 6,500 nits, but it can go up to 1,800 nits when out in the sun. The colour depth and touch sampling rate are set at 240Hz.

So, they don’t really have any differences in terms of the design. However, you get to choose different hues. The Realme 15 5G comes in Silk Pink, Velvet Green, and Flowing Silver, whereas the 15 Pro 5G gets Silk Purple, Velvet Green, and Flowing Silver.

Realme 15 vs Realme 15 Pro: Cameras

The camera is where the things differ. The Realme 15 5G gets a modest setup with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide unit.

The Realme 15 Pro 5G, on the other hand, gets a 50MP Sony IMX896 OIS main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide unit, and an unknown sensor assisting the two cameras.

Both phones have a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls. They also have camera features like Dual-Video, Portrait, and 4K video recording.

Coming to performance, the Realme 15 Pro 5G gets the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The Realme 15 5G, on the other hand, draws power from the Dimensity 7300+ chipset, paired with the same RAM but a maximum of 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

As far as the battery is concerned, both have a large 7,000mAh cell with support for 80W fast charging. Both come with Android 15-based Realme UI 6 and have the same set of AI features, including the new AI Edit Genie. They also share the same set of connectivity options, such as dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Overall, both the Realme 15 5G and Realme 15 Pro 5G have the same design, battery, and software. The former starts at Rs 25,999, whereas the latter begins at Rs 31,999.

So, you can go with the Realme 15 Pro 5G if you want a better camera experience and a slightly better performance. Otherwise, the Realme 15 5G also sets itself right for power users who don’t want to spend extra.
