Realme Buds Clip debuts with an open-ear fit and up to 36 hours of battery life

Earbuds with an open-ear fit are becoming popular lately, and Realme is the latest to join this trend. The Realme Buds Clip is a pair of open-ear earbuds that clip-on onto your ears without being uncomfortable.

Some of their highlights include up to 36 hours of playback, an in-built AI translator, and a large driver for a bass-heavy sound. Here’s all you need to know about the Realme Buds Clip.

What's special about the Realme Buds Clip?

The Realme Buds Clip come in a small charging case, featuring a matte finish and an LED ring light that shows the state of the earbuds. As the name suggests, the buds have a clip-on design and look a bit dumbbell-esque.

They feature 11mm drivers and sit next to your ear canal, unlike regular earphones that offer a tight seal on the ear. These look quite similar to some other open-ear earbuds, like the BoAt Airdopes Loop, which we reviewed earlier this year.

Apart from the design, the other highlights of the earbuds include AI features. This includes an AI-powered ENC for noise reduction during calls and an in-built AI translator. The earbuds have an IP55 rating for dust and splash resistance, adding to their durability.

Realme claims up to 36 hours of video playback with these, which is pretty impressive. For gamers, there’s a low-latency mode that lowers the latency to just 45ms.

If you liked these features, you can buy the Realme Buds Clip for around $60 (about Rs 5,300), however, they are only available globally. It’s unclear if Realme plans to launch the Buds Clip in India. But you can check out the BoAt Airdopes Loop. They feature the same clip-on design, but are priced under Rs 2,000.
