Realme launched the GT 7 lineup of phones in India, and it comprises of the Realme GT 7, a special GT 7 Dream Edition, and the Realme GT 7T.

The phones feature similar designs and offer premium features. This includes a large display, a gaming-ready chipset, and a good set of cameras. But what’s the difference between the Realme GT 7 and the GT 7T. Surely, there’s a reason why one of them has a ‘T’ in the nomenclature. Let’s find out in our comparison.

Realme GT 7 vs GT 7T: Design, display

The Realme GT 7 and the GT 7T have similar designs. They have a large OLED screen with a punch hole on the front and the camera island placed vertically on the rear.

The GT 7 has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness. It has a 120Hz fast refresh rate and a Gorilla Glass 7i for durability.

The GT 7T, on the other hand, has a 6.80-inch AMOLED display with the same resolution and refresh rate as the GT 7 and the same 6,000 nits peak brightness. The exact protection used for the GT 7T is unknown as of yet.

The Realme GT 7 has a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor, a 50MP telephoto sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide unit.

The GT 7T, on the other hand, has a dual-rear camera system with a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. There’s a 32MP front camera on both phones. Both phones can shoot 4K videos and have several camera modes, including a dedicated night mode.

Both phones differ significantly in terms of performance. The GT 7 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The GT 7T gets the Dimensity 8400-Max chipset with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

In terms of battery, both phones pack a large 7,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. The duo boots on Android 15 OS out of the box with Realme UI 6 on top. For connectivity, they both have 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. They also have an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Realme GT 7 vs GT 7T: Prices compared

Pricing for the Realme GT 7 start from Rs 39,999 for the base model (8GB RAM + 256GB storage). The mid (12GB + 256GB) and the top (12GB + 512GB) variants are priced at Rs 42,999 and Rs 46,999 respectively. This phone will be available in black and blue options.

Prices for the Realme GT 7T, on the other hand, start from Rs 34,999 for the base model (8GB + 256GB). The mid (12GB + 256GB) and top (12GB + 512GB) variants are priced at Rs 37,999 and Rs 41,999 respectively. This phone will be available in black, blue and racing yellow colours.

Overall, the major difference between the Realme GT 7 and GT 7 T is in cameras and performance. Most other things remain the same. You can go with any of these and won’t be wrong.
