Realme GT 7T vs iQOO Neo 10: Which powerhorse is the one for you?

Unbridled power, unmatched value

Realme GT 7T vs iQOO Neo 10: Which powerhorse is the one for you?

Realme just dropped its latest gaming powerhouse – the Realme GT 7T – in the Indian market, going head-to-head with some fierce rivals from OnePlus, Vivo, and iQOO. But one competitor in particular is giving it a real run for its money. The recently launched iQOO Neo 10, a device that’s built for performance enthusiasts.

Launched alongside the Realme GT 7, the GT 7T packs a punch with its power-focused Dimensity chipset. The iQOO Neo 10, on the other hand, wants to claim the performance crown with its Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. But here’s the real question: which one comes out on top? The Realme GT 7T or the iQOO Neo 10? Let’s break it down.

Realme GT 7T vs iQOO Neo 10: Build and design

The Realme GT 7T doesn’t shy away from its gamer DNA, especially in the bold Racing Yellow variant with angular lines and sharp corners on the camera module. The iQOO Neo 10, meanwhile, opts for a more subtle look, featuring a rounded ‘squircle’ camera module and a simpler design.

Both phones keep things sleek with slim bezels and hole-punch cutouts for immersive displays. But the GT 7T has the edge when it comes to durability. It boasts an IP68 + IP69 rating, meaning it can handle water submersion and high-pressure jets, while the Neo 10 settles for an IP65 splash resistance rating.

Despite being 0.2mm thicker than the Neo 10, the GT 7T is actually four grams lighter at 202g. Plus, it brings something cool to the table – a back panel made of fibreglass infused with graphene, which helps with better heat dissipation. In contrast, the Neo 10 sticks to a regular plastic back.

Realme GT 7T vs iQOO Neo 10: Display

Both phones come with similarly sized AMOLED panels supporting 10-bit colour depth. However, the Neo 10 boasts a smoother 144Hz refresh rate, while the GT 7T settles for 120Hz. Both offer crisp 1.5K resolution, but Realme wins in streaming quality with support for both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, the latter of which is absent on the Neo 10.

When it comes to peak brightness, the GT 7T shines brighter at 6,000 nits (for HDR content), compared to the Neo 10’s 4,400 nits. However, under typical conditions, their brightness levels are more closely matched.

Realme GT 7T vs iQOO Neo 10: Performance and software

Performance-wise, both phones deliver plenty of muscle. The iQOO Neo 10 rocks the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while the GT 7T packs the Dimensity 8400 Max with up to 12GB of RAM and the same storage. While the Dimensity’s top clock speed is slightly higher, the difference is marginal.

On the software front, the GT 7T stands out. It ships with Realme UI 6.0 on Android 15 and promises a whopping six major OS updates, compared to just three for the Neo 10’s FuntouchOS 15. Realme’s phone also packs a broader suite of AI features, making it feel more future-ready.

Realme GT 7T vs iQOO Neo 10: Cameras

Both phones sport similar camera setups – a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 32MP front camera. Yes, exactly the same. They both support 4K video recording on front and rear cameras. Ultimately, the difference will come down to how each phone handles tuning and processing.

Realme GT 7T vs iQOO Neo 10: Battery Life

Battery life is another area where the two phones are neck-and-neck. Both pack massive 7,000mAh batteries with 120W fast charging. There’s also support for bypass charging which is an invaluable feature for marathon gaming sessions.

Realme GT 7T vs iQOO Neo 10: Which one’s right for you?

In the end, the Realme GT 7T offers slightly better overall value. Its brighter display, longer software support, and stronger durability credentials make it a compelling choice. That said, the iQOO Neo 10 is no slouch – if you value a higher refresh rate and more RAM, it’s a solid pick.
