Samsung has announced a new smartphone in the affordable segment, and it is for those who want a fast display and big battery. Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G, the device will be sold alongside the 4G version. This one has a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and runs the latest Android 16 operating system.
Samsung Galaxy A07 5G key features and highlights
The Galaxy A07 5G boasts a familiar design, featuring a clean back with a vertical camera module. It gets a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. It has 800 nits of peak brightness, which is decent for a budget handset.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It packs a large 6,000mAh battery for a full day of usage. It supports 25W fast charging.
As far as the cameras are concerned, there’s a 50MP main sensor on the rear, which is assisted by a 2MP bokeh sensor. There’s an 8MP camera on the front for selfies. There’s support for 1080p resolution video.

Interestingly, despite being a budget phone, it boots on Android 16-based One UI 8. Samsung is also offering up to six major Android updates and security patches. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security.
The Galaxy A07 is currently available in Thailand, and it starts at THB 5,499 (about Rs 15,800). In the same price range, you can also check out the CMF Phone 2a Pro and the Vivo T4x. Both come in the same price segment and have similar features.
