Samsung has announced the launch of its next smartphone, and it isn’t the Galaxy S26 series. Rather, the South Korean giant is starting it easy with the launch of a budget handset. Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G, the device is scheduled to launch next week, and we already have a date. Here’s all you need to know about the Galaxy F70e 5G.
Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G to be spec’d out on a budget
Let’s first get the launch date out of the way. The Galaxy F70e 5G debuts on February 9, which isn’t too far away. The teaser poster and the retail page of the website confirm its key specifications.
The smartphone is said to come with a large display, featuring a 120Hz high refresh rate support. It may get a dual-rear camera system with a 50MP ultra-clear main sensor and a 2MP depth unit. The entire body will be splash resistant, and it will pack a large 6,000mAh battery for all-day usage.
Under the hood, the Galaxy F70e 5G will have the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. It will likely be paired with at least 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The device will boot on Android 16 out of the box with One UI 8 on top. Samsung will be giving six years of OS and security updates, making it ready for long-term usage.
Although Samsung hasn’t confirmed, the Galaxy F70e may start at around Rs 15,000. Upon launch, it will rival the CMF Phone 2 Pro and the Vivo T4x. Both have similar specifications and come in the same price segment.
