Samsung has unveiled Odyssey G7 G75F, the very first gaming display to pack a 4K resolution into a curved 37-inch screen. At that size, it’s as big as a television set and should offer the most immersive view possible when gaming. Let’s dive into its specs.
Who needs a TV when you have this?
The Odyssey’s giant 37-inch VA panel offers a sharp 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. It also boasts a speedy 165Hz refresh rate and a snappy 1ms grey-to-grey response time. For visual flair it supports VESA DisplayHDR 600 and covers a respectable 90 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour space, meaning games should look both vibrant and detailed.
Moroever, gamers running AMD graphics cards will appreciate the inclusion of FreeSync Premium Pro for buttery-smooth gameplay. Samsung also throws in some neat quality-of-life perks like its CoreSync and CoreLighting+ technology.

These systems use RGB lights to project colours from your game onto the wall behind the monitor. The handy Auto Source Switch+ feature also cleverly swaps inputs when it detects a new device powering on – like a laptop.
Connectivity is pretty robust with two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 connection. The monitor also includes a two-port USB hub for your peripherals. A modern USB-C port is unfortunately absent and you will need to bring your own headset or speakers.
The massive catch however is its appearance outside of Southeast Asia. The monitor has so far only surfaced on Samsung’s Malaysian website with a price tag of RM 4,399 which translates to roughly Rs 91,000. There is currently no official word on when or if this beast will make its way to India.
