Samsung One UI 8 Beta: How to get and list of supported phones

A whole lot new here

Samsung One UI 8 Beta: How to get and list of supported phones

Samsung has officially pulled the curtain back on One UI 8, its next major Android skin based on Android 16. Packed with AI-driven features, improved privacy controls, and thoughtful UX tweaks, the new update builds on last year’s momentum, this time with a sharper focus on performance and personalisation.

While One UI 7 brought a bold design refresh, version 8 takes a more refined approach. It introduces smarter suggestions based on your daily habits, and gives users the option to keep AI data processing entirely on-device. Samsung says, “One UI 8 will also recognise your context, offering proactive suggestions that support your daily routine.” This means fewer interruptions and more seamless interactions across apps, widgets, and system tools.

Samsung is also pushing ahead with features like Auracast, built on Bluetooth LE Audio for easier connectivity, as well as improved in-store customer service via QR and NFC support at repair centres. The updated Reminder app also gets a major uplift, becoming the go-to hub for managing your tasks and to-dos
