Several TVs from Hisense and Toshiba run on VIDAA operating system, which is based on Linux. Now, DTH provider Tata Play has announced a partnership with VIDAA to integrate its OTT aggregation service on VIDAA-powered smart TVs.
With this move, users will be able to access content under one roof instead of having to switch apps. Tata Play Binge is similar to the Airtel Xstream service aggregator app.
Tata Play Binge arrives on TVs running VIDAA OS
Tata Play Binge combines content from multiple streaming platforms into a single interface. This means users can access entertainment content, including movies, TV shows, live sports, and documentaries from more than 30 major platforms, including Prime Video, JioHotstar, Apple TV, Zee5, LionsGate Play, Discover+, FanCode, etc. Users won’t require additional hardware like a set-top box or a streaming device.
The move aims to simplify how users navigate and discover content across multiple platforms in a centralised place. With the integration of the Tata Play Binge on VIDAA-powered TVs, users can log in once and access multiple OTT apps.
