Tecno has launched a new Pova smartphone series in India. Dubbed the Tecno Pova 7, this new series comes with a standout design and solid specifications. Some of the highlights include the Delta Interface, a 144Hz display, and a large 6,000mAh battery. Here’s everything you need to know.
All about the Tecno Pova 7 series
The Tecno Pova 7 series comprises of the Pova 7 and the Pova 7 Pro, both featuring the Delta Interface, which has a patterned design with an LED light covering the rather odd-shaped camera island. The series sports a 6.78-inch 144Hz display for smooth scrolling. The AMOLED screen has a 1.5K resolution for watching your favourite movies and shows in high resolution.
The Pova 7 boasts a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide unit. The Pova 7 Pro, on the other hand, gets a 64MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide unit. There’s a 13MP camera on the front for selfies. Interestingly, both phones can shoot 4K videos from the rear and front cameras.
For performance, there’s the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Both phones pack 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

The series has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security. The series has 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS support. It boots on Android 15-based HiOS 15.
As for the price, the Tecno Pova 7 starts at Rs 14,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs 15,999 for the 256GB variant. The Pova 7 Pro costs Rs 18,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs 19,999 for the 256GB variant.
The series will be up for sale from July 10 in India. In the same price range, you can also check out the CMF Phone 2 Pro and the Galaxy A16 5G, before making your purchase decision. Both phones come with 50MP cameras and big batteries.
