Vivo V70 FE launches as a new mid-range phone boasting premium features

The Vivo V70 FE has launched in India today. It is the third device in the brand’s V series after the standard and elite models. The latest offering is the base model in the lineup that does not compromise on specifications. Read on to know everything about the new Vivo smartphone.

Vivo V70 FE key specifications and features

The Vivo V70 FE has a different design compared to its siblings with a pill-shaped camera island on the back panel. The Northern Light Purple colour variant features a glowing back panel when it is exposed to UV/sunlight. The device is IP68 and IP69K certified dust and water resistant.

On the front, the Vivo V70 FE has a 6.83-inch OLED flat screen bearing a 1.5K resolution. It offers 1,900 nits peak brightness, HDR10 support, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole cutout functions similarly to Apple’s Dynamic Island.

In the camera department, the Vivo V70 FE sports dual rear shooters, comprising a 200MP OIS-enabled primary sensor paired with an 8MP wide-angle lens. There is a 50MP front-facing selfie snapper.

The smartphone packs a host of features, including the ability to shoot across multiple focal lengths up to 85mm, lock moving subjects, and AI-assisted 30x zoom. It is also capable of photographing underwater up to 1.5 meters. 

Under the hood, the Vivo V70 FE is equipped with a Mediatek Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor. It packs up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone is backed by a 7,000mAh battery cell with support for 90W fast charging.

Software-wise, it ships with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box and is eligible for six years of security updates. 

Vivo V70 FE price in India, availability

The Viva V70 FE starts at Rs 37,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB option. The 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB configurations are priced at Rs 40,999 and Rs 44,999 respectively.

The phone comes in Northern Light Purple and Monsoon Blue colour options. It is available for pre-order, with sales commencing on April 9. There are various offers across both online and offline channels.
