Big power, small frame

Vivo X200 FE brings flagship punch to a pint-sized phone

If there’s one thing 2025 has taught us, it’s that not everyone wants a smartphone that doubles up as a tablet. While the industry’s been busy chasing screen real estate and foldable fantasies for a good few years, a compact revolution is coming around in the smartphone world.

To that end, Vivo has dropped a reminder that compact doesn’t mean compromised. Enter the Vivo X200 FE – a sleek, pocketable powerhouse that’s attempting rewrite what small phones can do, much like the recently-launched OnePlus 13s. Here’s everything you need to know about the Vivo X200 FE.

Vivo X200 FE announced with a compact build

Unveiled in Taiwan and heading soon to global shelves, the X200 FE is quite a spec sheet flex in a body that’s refreshingly compact. With compact dimensions, it fits where most modern phones don’t – in your hand, your pocket, your life.

And yet, inside this tiny chassis lives a 6.31-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, complete with 120Hz refresh rate, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and a sharp 50MP selfie camera. It’s flagship-grade immersion, minus the bulk.

But the real shocker is the battery. Vivo somehow squeezed a 6,500mAh silicon carbon battery into this frame. That’s practically a tablet’s capacity hiding in a phone that weighs just 186 grams. According to Vivo’s own testing, you’re looking at 25+ hours of YouTube or 9.5 hours of continuous gaming.

When you do run low, 90W charging gets you back to full in under an hour. The whole thing is IP68/IP69 rated, so it’s not just slim and smart, it’s tough, too.

Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Whether you’re editing a video, gaming on the highest settings, or juggling apps like a caffeinated multitasker, this phone should keep up. All of it runs on Funtouch OS 15, layered over Android 15.

Flip it around and the camera module means business. There’s a 50MP IMX921 main sensor with f/1.88 aperture and OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto (IMX882, f/2.65), and an 8MP ultrawide for good measure – all tuned by Zeiss optics. For a device this size, it’s a surprisingly pro-level setup.
