Microsoft is giving Windows 11 a serious upgrade with a new wave of AI-powered features. The update introduces deeper integration with Copilot, fresh productivity tools, and enhanced creative functions, all designed to make your everyday computing experience smoother and smarter. If you are a Windows user, here’s what’s coming your way.
All about the new Windows 11 update
Microsoft announced Copilot Vision earlier this month, and it will now be available to some people. A new feature that helps the AI assistant understand what’s happening on your screen. It works in apps like Photos and Word, letting you ask questions or request suggestions based on what’s visible, like improving a photo’s lighting or getting a summary of on-screen content.
Another big addition is Click to Do, available on Copilot+ PCs. It lets users take actions just by holding the Windows key and clicking on images or text. From launching Reading Coach and Immersive Reader to drafting Word docs or scheduling Teams meetings, everything becomes one click away.
Copilot+ users also get a new AI agent in Settings. You can now type or speak instructions like ‘enable dark mode’ or ‘turn off notifications’ and the AI will take care of it, skipping the need to dig through settings menus.
On the creative side, the Photos app now includes Relight, a feature that lets you adjust lighting in your images using AI. You can set up to three different light sources to get the perfect shot.

Paint also adds AI Sticker Creator for making stickers from text prompts, and Object Select, which lets you isolate any part of an image with a single click. The Snipping Tool picks up a colour picker and a new screenshot mode for precise captures.
The update includes background improvements too, like support for Quick Machine Repair, better restart handling, and new keyboard shortcuts.
Microsoft has started the rollout for early testers, and the update should be live for stable users soon.
