Xiaomi has unveiled a new 20,000mAh powerbank, designed not only for higher capacity but also for ultra-fast charging. With such a capacity, this new powerbank can not only juice up your smartphone, but also more demanding gadgets like laptops. Here’s a closer look at its key features.
Xiaomi 20,000mAh powerbank key specs and features
Available in a sleek black shell, the new Xiaomi 20,000mAh powerbank offers a clean and professional aesthetic despite its powerful internals. One of its highlights is a smart colour display that shows real-time information such as battery level, charging or discharging status, remaining or full charge time, and active ports.
Inside, it houses four lithium-ion cells rated at 4,900mAh each, offering a total nominal capacity of 20,560mAh. The powerbank includes a pair of USB-C ports, one for input and one for output.
The input USB-C port supports up to 20V/4.5A (90W) charging, ensuring quick recharge times for the powerbank itself. Meanwhile, the output port delivers a maximum combined output of 165W, divided as 120W via the built-in USB-C cable and 45W through the secondary USB-C port.
There’s also a USB-A port, supporting up to 27.5W charging, ideal for smartphones, tablets, and low-powered laptops. The powerbank supports PD 3.0, QC 3.5, and PPS charging standards, ensuring broad compatibility across various devices.
The company claims the device complies with GB 4943.1-2022 and GB 31241-2022, China’s national safety standards for electronic devices and lithium battery protection, ensuring safe usage and reliable performance.

The new Xiaomi 20,000mAh powerbank is priced at CNY 299 (approximately Rs 3,700). Currently, its availability is limited to China, and there’s no confirmation yet on whether it will be released in other countries.
