Acer just dropped its new TravelLite Essential Series laptops in India. These new laptops are aimed at students and professionals who need a durable machine on a budget. They feature a premium metal design and a solid set of features, starting at just Rs 32,999. Let’s dive in.
Built for professionals who refuse to carry plastic
The main event here is that sleek aluminium chassis that weighs a mere 1.34 kg, making it an easy travel companion. Beyond that, you get a 14-inch Full HD IPS display with slim bezels and a handy 180-degree hinge. The screen is also the anti-glare kind.
Under the hood, buyers get a choice between an Intel Core i5-1334U processor or an AMD Ryzen 5 7430U chip. Both variants run Windows 11 Home and are geared for productivity rather than high-end gaming. Multitaskers will appreciate the support for up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and storage options that go up to a 1TB PCIe SSD, ensuring snappy performance for daily work.

Acer packed in plenty of practical features for life on the move. The 36Whr battery promises up to 8.5 hours of use, and 45W fast charging helps you top up quickly. For video calls, there is an HD webcam with a physical privacy shutter.
Connectivity is robust with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a full suite of ports including USB-C, HDMI, and even an RJ45 LAN port. A spill-resistant keyboard adds a layer of protection against workplace accidents.
The Acer TravelLite Essential Series is available now through Acer’s official online store and authorised retailers. The Ryzen 5 model kicks things off at Rs 32,999, while the Intel Core i5 version is priced at Rs 36,500.
