Amazfit Active 3 Premium introduced with structured running and hybrid training features

The Amazfit Active 3 Premium has debuted as the brand’s second smartwatch this month after the T-Rex Ultra 2. The newest offering aims to provide structured running and hybrid training without overwhelming the user with heavy, high-performance metrics like advanced smartwatches. The device aims to balance everyday lifestyle wear with comprehensive fitness tracking. 

Amazfit Active 3 Premium specs and features

The Amazfit Active 3 Premium has a circular dial with a 45mm stainless steel case and four physical buttons. It offers a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen and 3,000 nits peak brightness make it usable outdoors. 

On the fitness front, the Active 3 Premium comes with Zepp Coach adaptive training plans and built-in running workouts. These are designed to help you build rhythm, structure, and consistency, along with plans that adjust based on your performance and recovery for 5K, 10K, half, and full marathons.

There are advanced metrics like posture monitoring, cadence analysis, threshold insights, ground contact time etc. The smartwatch also features turn-by-turn navigation and offline maps. 

Beyond running, the Amazfit Active 3 Premium supports more than 170 sports modes including HYROX and third-party fitness apps. The wearable device is capable of tracking heart-rate, SpO2, stress levels, sleep patterns, and skin temperature.

There is also daily readiness score based on recovery and activity. The smartwatch comes with additional tracking metrics like VO2 Max, training load, training effect etc.

The Amazfit Active 3 Premium packs a built-in microphone and speaker for hands-free Bluetooth voice calling. There’s 4GB onboard storage. It comes with convenient features like todo lists, calendar reminders, sedentary alerts, smartphone notifications etc.

The device is backed by a 365mAh battery cell that is capable of offering up to 12 days of usage and up to 24 hours with continuous GPS. 

Amazfit Active 3 Premium pricing and availability

The Amazfit Active 3 Premium costs $169.99 (roughly Rs 15,460) and comes in Apex Silver, Atlas Blue, and Aero White colours. It is available for purchase in the US.  Ther’s no word if and when the smartwatch will arrive in India
