Amazfit Active 3 Premium and rugged T-Rex Ultra 2 debut in India

Last week, Amazfit confirmed that it will announce the two smartwatches Active 3 Premium and T-Rex Ultra 2 in India soon. Finally, the brand has unveiled them in the country. While the Active 3 Premium is a compact fitness-focused smartwatch, the T-Rex Ultra 2 is a rugged outdoor-oriented offering. Here is a closer look at what both devices bring.

Amazfit Active 3 Premium: Specs and features

The Amazfit Active 3 Premium features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, along with sapphire glass protection. It runs on Zepp OS 5 and supports Zepp Flow AI voice control, along with Bluetooth calling through an in-built microphone and speaker. The watch includes a BioTracker 6.0 sensor for health monitoring, along with tracking for heart rate, SpO2, stress, and skin temperature.

It supports over 170 workout modes and includes running-focused features such as training plans, running power, and smart trajectory correction. With support for multiple satellite positioning systems and offline maps, it is suitable for outdoor tracking as well. The smartwatch packs a 365mAh battery that is rated to last up to 12 days under typical use and up to 24 hours with continuous GPS usage.

Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2: Specs and features

The Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 is designed for rugged usage and comes with a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a 480 x 480 pixels resolution and similar peak brightness of 3,000 nits. It features a titanium bezel and case back, along with sapphire glass protection. The watch supports dual-band GPS with six satellite systems and includes full-colour global maps and 64GB of internal storage.

It offers more than 180 workout modes and advanced fitness tracking features, along with Zepp Coach support. The device also includes a built-in dual-mode flashlight, a green light mode for night vision compatibility, and an SOS signal feature for emergencies. The 870mAh battery is claimed to last up to 30 days with typical use and over 50 hours with continuous GPS tracking.

Price and availability

The Amazfit Active 3 Premium is priced at Rs 15,999 and comes in an Apex Silver finish. The Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 is priced at Rs 49,999 and is available in Black Magma colour. Both models are available through the Amazfit India online store and will also be sold via Amazon and offline retail outlets.
