Apple has launched the AirPods Pro 3, and while they look familiar, the updates under the hood take them far beyond any other pair of earbuds. From improved noise cancellation to heart-rate tracking and even live translation, the latest AirPods are a true upgrade, and we are here to tell you all about them.
AirPods Pro 3: What's new?
The Apple AirPods Pro 3 debut with a custom multiport acoustic architecture that promises richer sound and sharper clarity across genres. Paired with new foam-infused eartips and five size options, the fit is now more stable and tailored for long use. Apple has also made the earbuds stronger and durable with IP57 rating, a first for AirPods.
The AirPods Pro 3 also comes with upgraded features, such as 2x the Active Noise Cancellation compared to the AirPods Pro 2, and an impressive 4x boost over the first-generation Pro.
It also gets an ultra-low microphone that helps refine call clarity even in noisy spaces, while the enhanced Transparency Mode extends battery life up to 10 hours.
One of the headline features this year is live translation powered by Apple Intelligence. With a simple gesture, users can activate real-time translation on their AirPods. If both people in a conversation are wearing AirPods Pro 3, the earbuds act as translators, enabling seamless multilingual conversation.

What’s impressive is that AirPods now also double up as a health device, as they feature a custom heart-rate sensor capable of tracking performance during workouts. The buds can monitor heart rate continuously and pair it with calorie tracking across 50 different workouts.
Battery life also gets a solid bump. The AirPods Pro 3rd generation now deliver eight hours of playback on a single charge and extend up to 10 hours in Transparency Mode, making them more reliable for long flights and commutes.
Coming to the price, the AirPods Pro 3 cost Rs 25,900, and will go on sale starting September 19. You can pre-order the earbuds starting today in online and offline stores across India.
