The sheer variety of phones on offer these days can make the process of picking the best Android phone seem intimidating. However, it might help to remember that most phones today are really good and there’s no ‘bad’ phone per se. Pick one that fits the particular niche that you want it to fulfil and don’t worry about missing out. To make things easier, here is a selection of what we think are the best Android phones in India in 2026.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
This is the best flagship Android phone for most people. It’s basically the fastest, most feature-packed Android phone you can buy today, featuring premium materials, top-of-the-line hardware, nigh unbeatable cameras – including a 200MP monster – and insane zoom. This phone won’t come cheap, but then it does aim to be the best of the best.
Google Pixel 10A 5G
One of the best mid-range options to pick up is the Google Pixel 10A. Two things stand out with this phone, the first being support for some of the best smartphone cameras in the business, and the second being stock Android with direct support from Google in terms of timely updates and extended support. This phone isn’t as flashy as many other devices in this category, but that doesn’t mean it’s a dull phone.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7
Now if you want something truly special, you want a folding phone, and the best is again a Samsung model, the Z Fold 7. Think of this phone as an S25 but with a folding screen that unfolds to give you tablet-style real estate. There’s no real compromise on any front and even the camera array includes a 200 MP sensor. As expected, this kind of quality doesn’t come cheap and the Z Fold7 retails at Rs 1,74,999.
Nothing Phone 3a 5G
For something more reasonably priced, consider the Nothing Phone 3A. Offering a unique design both in terms of hardware and software. It costs Rs 26,999 and other than design, offers dual 50 MP + 8 MP cameras on the rear, a 32 MP selfie camera, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 power, and a 5000 mAh battery. It’s an interesting phone and certainly one worth considering just for its design.
Realme P4x 5G
Another great option, the P4x from Realme is the one to get if you want massive battery life from a powerful but reasonably priced device. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra SoC with 6 GB RAM and comes with a 7,000 mAh battery with 45W charging support. The primary camera is a 50 MP unit as well. It’s a great device for gamers and power users who use their phones for extended periods.
This selection is just a starting point to help you make up your mind about the budget and features for the phone that you would love to have.

Which you choose depends entirely on what you choose to do with your phone. There is no wrong decision that can be made here.
