Croma F series 27-inch monitor
The F series monitors from Croma offer fantastic value thanks to an all-rounder feature-set and excellent hardware. The 27-inch model retails at just Rs 11,999 but has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a fast, 4 ms response time. It also supports both HDMI and DisplayPort, includes dual 2W speakers, and has a max brightness of 250 nits.

Zebronics MT94
A 32-inch monitor for Rs 10,499 would have seemed impossible just a few years ago, and yet here we are. The Zebronics MT94 is a 32-inch Full HD (1920×1080) monitor with a 75 Hz refresh rate and 8 ms response time. It will be great for productivity but isn’t ideal for fast-paced gaming owing to the slow response time. Still, 32 inches of real estate at this price is nothing to scoff at.

Samsung Smart Monitor M5D
This one is just a smidge over budget at Rs 15,944, but it’s one we’d urge you to consider as it is an excellent monitor that justifies that slight premium. The 32-inch Full HD VA panel has great contrast making it great for content consumption or editing, but what really stands out are the built-in smarts which allow the monitor to function as a stand-alone display and stream content via OTT apps and the like.
Lenovo L24-4C
The Lenovo L24-4C is an excellent gaming monitor for those on a budget. It costs just Rs 9,229 but offers a 144 Hz refresh rate, IPS quality, and 6W audio output. It even comes with a VGA port in case you need to plug the device into older PCs. Otherwise you’ll use the HDMI port.

Zebronics MT120
This Full HD VA panel from Zebronics is both affordable and great to use. Connectivity is great as you get both HDMI and DisplayPort, but what stands out is the 165 Hz refresh rate at a price of just Rs 6,499. The 8 ms response time isn’t great for fast-paced games, but for everything else this is a great feature-set at a great price.
BenQ GW2490
Next up we have the GW2490 from BenQ. This is a 100 Hz Full HD gaming monitor that offers two HDMI ports and one DisplayPort. It’s a great buy at Rs 8,250 because it comes with an IPS panel that offers that excellent colour accuracy and 99% sRGB coverage.

Dell S2425H
While the Dell S2425H has a 100 Hz refresh rate, the 8 ms response time will be a problem for gamers. However, it’s a great monitor for productivity and content consumption and has especially good speakers (2x 5W). A great deal at just Rs 9,194.

Lenovo L27-4C
Lastly, we have the Lenovo L27-4C. It’s slightly brighter than average at 300 nits, and has a slow but acceptable 6 ms response time. Refresh rate is very good at 144 Hz, however, and you get two HDMI ports as well as two 3W speakers. Not a bad deal for Rs 11,689, especially if you want a larger, 27-inch monitor for work or play.

It’s pleasantly surprising to see this much competition in the sub-15k space for monitors. There’s something for everyone here, regardless of whether you want a monitor for work or play, and whatever the screen size.
