CMF Headphone Pro launch date confirmed, here’s what to expect

CMF is preparing to start the new year with the India launch of its first over-ear headphones. After debuting in select global markets last year, the CMF Headphone Pro is now confirmed to arrive in the country, marking the brand’s next step in expanding its audio lineup beyond earbuds and neckbands.

CMF Headphone Pro India launch details and design

CMF has confirmed that the Headphone Pro will launch in India on January 13. The headphones feature a colourful and playful design language that clearly sets them apart from Nothing’s more industrial-looking Headphone 1.

They will be available in Light Grey, Dark Grey, and Light Green colour options, with swappable ear cushions that can be changed for additional colours such as orange.

The design also relies heavily on physical controls, including a roller dial, buttons, and a dedicated Energy Slider that allows users to manually adjust bass and treble levels without opening the companion app. The headphones carry an IPX2 rating, offering basic splash resistance for everyday use.

CMF Headphone Pro features and expected price

The CMF Headphone Pro comes equipped with 40mm drivers and supports LDAC audio for high-quality wireless playback. Active noise cancellation is rated at up to 40dB and can be adjusted through the Nothing X app, which also allows control customisation.

Battery life is one of the main highlights, with CMF claiming up to 100 hours of playback with noise cancellation turned off, and up to 50 hours with ANC enabled. Fast charging support is included, with a five-minute charge said to deliver up to four hours of listening time via USB Type-C.

Globally, the CMF Headphone Pro is priced at around $99. While the India pricing has not been officially revealed, it is expected to stay around the Rs 10,000 mark, positioning it as a strong contender in the budget over-ear headphones segment.

CMF is also gearing up to launch the Watch 3 Pro. However, it is unclear whether it will be unveiled alongside the Headphone Pro.
