If you are active online, you might have come across 3D figurines of celebrities and game characters, and even of your friends. Wondering how they are made? Well, they are made using AI, and they look quite realistic.

If you want to jump on the bandwagon and make a figurine of yourself, here’s how you can do that with a photo and a simple prompt using Gemini Nano Banana.

Here’s how to create 3D figurines using Gemini Nano Banana

The trend began after Google, on X, showcased new capabilities of Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, better known as Nano Banana. Google showed off how real the photo-to-figurine conversion looked.

What’s impressive is that Gemini Nano Banana doesn’t make a cartoony image; rather, it makes a photorealistic image in a few seconds. Just shows how capable its newest model is. If you want to make a 3D figurine of yourself, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open the Google AI Studio.

Step 2: Click on ‘Try Nano Banana’, and you should see a box to type in a prompt.

Step 3: Now, copy the following prompt and paste it into the box.

“Create a 1/7 scale commercialised figurine of the characters in the picture, in a realistic style, in a real environment. The figurine is placed on a computer desk. The figurine has a round transparent acrylic base with no text on the base. The content on the computer screen is a 3D modelling process of this figurine. Next to the computer screen is a toy packaging box, designed in a style reminiscent of high-quality collectible figures, printed with original artwork. The packaging features two-dimensional flat illustrations.”
