Daredevil Born Again Season 2 expected release schedule; time jump explained

Hell’s Kitchen is about to get a lot darker. Daredevil: Born Again returns for Season 2 this March, and if you are already bracing yourself for more rooftop brooding and hallway chaos, it is time to mark your calendar. Here is everything you need to know about the Marvel series‘ release schedule, episode rollout, and that major six-month time jump that reshapes Matt Murdock’s world.

When does Daredevil Born Again Season 2 release?

Season 2 of Daredevil Born Again premieres on March 24, 2026, on Disney+. In India, however, the show’s second season will debut on JioHotstar on March 25 at 7:30AM IST.

The new season will consist of eight episodes in total. There have also been online whispers suggesting the full season may drop in one go. As of now, however, there is no official confirmation that the show will abandon its weekly format. And until Marvel says otherwise, it is safest to assume a traditional weekly rollout, with every episode streaming on a Wednesday.

Daredevil Born Again Season 2 episode schedule

If the weekly model holds, here is how the second season of Daredevil Born Again will unfold:

– Episode 1 – March 25, 2026
– Episode 2 – April 1, 2026
– Episode 3 – April 8, 2026
– Episode 4 – April 15, 2026
– Episode 5 – April 22, 2026
– Episode 6 – April 29, 2026
– Episode 7 – May 6, 2026
– Episode 8 (Finale) – May 13, 2026

That gives fans nearly two months of weekly tension, theory threads, and spoiler avoidance. If Marvel does pivot to a same-day drop, you can expect the entire season to land on March 24.

The teaser released about four weeks ago, and it gives fans a sneak peek into how action-packed and emotionally charged season 2 will be. You can check out the teaser below.

What is the six-month time jump in season 2 about?

Season 2 does not pick up the morning after the chaos of Season 1. Instead, it jumps forward six months following Wilson Fisk’s declaration of martial law.

Showrunner Dario Scardapane told SFX Magazine that when the series returns, “Fisk has won, the city is gradually being put under his boot and we pick up all of our major players around six months later”.

Scardapane added that New York city is being transformed in ways that some might see as rebirth and others as decay. That duality feels fitting for a character like Matt Murdock, who has always walked the line between law and vigilantism.

Season 1 ended with Fisk consolidating power and cracking down on vigilantes. Season 2 appears ready to explore what happens when the system itself becomes the villain.

So, whether you tune in weekly or end up bingeing it in one sleepless stretch, Hell’s Kitchen is calling again. Excited to see Daredevil on the prowl again? Drop a comment to let us know.
