Dell just dropped a pair of new no-nonsense laptops in India, the Pro 14 and Pro 15 Essential, aimed squarely at the country’s small and medium business crowd. These machines are designed to give smaller companies the tech they need without requiring a massive budget.
The best part is the price tag, with the lineup kicking off at a very wallet-friendly promotional price of Rs 31,999.
This lets an IT squad deploy apps and manage the whole fleet of devices from anywhere, integrating neatly with Microsoft Intune. Setup is also a breeze thanks to Microsoft Autopilot support, which massively cuts down the time it takes to get a new employee up and running.

Security hasn’t been forgotten either. The laptops include a hardware TPM 2.0 chip for solid encryption and some models even feature a fingerprint reader for quick logins. A physical privacy shutter on the webcam also provides a simple defence against digital snooping.
Under the bonnet, businesses can choose between Intel or AMD processors for both the 14-inch and 15-inch models. For daily productivity, these laptops offer some nice upgrades. You can spec them with up to a 2.5K display featuring a taller 16:10 aspect ratio, making documents and presentations look extra sharp. An HD webcam and digital microphone are standard.
Dell also built these machines to last. They’ve been put through MIL-STD 810H military-grade testing, so they should handle the bumps and scrapes of daily use. Plus, the company is leaning into its sustainability goals. The laptops use materials like low-emissions aluminium, recycled steel, and biobased plastics.
