Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 launched to help maintain indoor air quality this winter

Winter is approaching, and there is a welcome chill in the air. However, along with it unfortunately, also comes increased air pollution levels across the country, both outdoors and indoors.

In such a scenario, one must protect their own health as well as their loved ones’, particularly if they happen to suffer from respiratory disorders. It would therefore seem that this is also an ideal time to invest in an air purifier, and almost on cue Dyson has launched its Purifier Cool Gen1.

Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 launched in India

The new Dyson Purifer Cool Gen1 features a sealed HEPA filter, which is claimed to capture up to 99.95 per cent of all small particles of up to 0.1 microns in a room. In addition to this, it also has an activated carbon filter, which helps capture and remove all odours and gases in a room.

The air purifier, Dyson says, features an airflow rate of up to 290 litres per second, and can purify the air in spaces of up to 81 cubic metres. It also features the ability to oscillate 350 degrees.

What’s more, the air purifier also automatically detects and reports PM2.5 and PM10 particle levels in a room in real-time, on its LCD screen. In addition to this, it also shows one the air quality index in their room and gives them insights into the same.

The Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 features an in-built automatic filter alert system, which notifies users as and when the filters on the device are due for replacement.

That’s not all. The Purifier Cool Gen1 also features a night mode, on which it operates quietly, and dims the display too. Moreover, one can also set a sleep timer on the purifier, with preset intervals of one, two, four or eight hours.

In case you happen to be feeling a little lazy and don’t want to get off the bed to turn the air purifier on, should you need to worry not. The Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 comes with a remote control included, to help one turn it on and off, as well as change its settings quickly and easily.

The new Dyson Purifier Cool Gen 1 is priced at Rs 39,900 and is available in a single white colour. It can be purchased from Dyson’s stores and its website too, as well as from all major e-commerce portals and partner retail outlets across the country.
