Fire-Boltt Cyclone Bluetooth calling smartwatch launched in India

Adding to the growing list of affordable smarwatches in India is the new Fire-Boltt Cyclone. While its price tag maybe on the lower side, it boasts of features that are usually seen on more expensive wearables. These include Bluetooth calling, Always-On display, and NFC to name a few. Read on to find out more about the new Fire-Boltt Cyclone.

Fire-Boltt Cyclone design and features

The Fire-Boltt Cyclone smartwatch features a circular dial with a full metallic chassis, a working crown, and a quick access button akin to the Apple Watch Ultra. It also has a band similar to Apple’s Ocean strap as well.

The smartwatch features a 1.6-inch TFT-LCD display with a resolution of 400×400 pixels, featuring an Always-on display, and Dark Mode functionality as well. Furthermore, it also comes with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.

The Cyclone features a 390mAh battery which, the brand says, offers up to eight days of usage on a single charge.

Fire-Boltt Cyclone key specifications

The Fire-Boltt Cyclone supports Bluetooth calling with an in-built quick dial pad, the ability to sync contacts from your smartphones, and an in-built mic and speaker.

Furthermore, besides the usual smart notifications and weather update features, it is also NFC enabled, meaning it supports PayPal payments.

The smartwatch can be used to open door locks as well. Bearing in mind the security implications related to the same, users can also set a passcode-based lock on the Cyclone.

Furthermore, it also features music and camera controls, GPS navigation capabilities, along with support for Google Assistant and Siri.

Interestingly, the Cyclone also features seven in-built games, some of which are puzzle-based and motion sensor-enabled. The in-built motion sensor in the watch also allows one to play virtual reality-based games.

For the fitness freaks, the latest offering from Fire-Boltt offers over 85 sports modes, a heart-rate monitor, an Sp02 sensor, as well as sleep cycle tracking capabilities. Additionally, the smartwatch also comes with breathing-training programs, as well as sedentary activity and hydration reminders.

The Fire-Boltt Cyclone smartwatch is priced at Rs 2,499, and is available in black, orange, yellow, and grey colours. It can be purchased from croma.com.

On paper, the Fire-Boltt Cyclone seems to offer a lot of features without really burning a hole in one’s pockets. It remains to be seen how this wearable will function in real-life.
