Here’s when the Oppo Find X9 series is launching in India

On Thursday (October 16), Oppo will unveil the Find X9 series of smartphones in China. Recent developments suggest that the company plans to release the Find X9 and X9 Pro in multiple markets outside China. For global audiences, Oppo may hold a launch event by the end of this month, while the series is expected to debut in India in November.

Oppo Find X9 India launch timeframe

According to GSMArena, during the recently held India Mobile Congress (IMC) event, the company confirmed that the Find X9 series will launch in India in November. Readers should note that Oppo has yet to make an official announcement through its social media handles about the India launch timeframe of the Find X9 series.

The Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will be India’s first smartphones to feature the Dimensity 9500, MediaTek’s most powerful chipset designed for flagship devices. The 3nm chip reportedly crosses over 4 million on AnTuTu benchmarks, promising top-notch performance.

The Find X9 will feature a 6.59-inch display and a 7,025mAh battery, whereas the Find X9 Pro will house a 6.78-inch screen and a 7,500mAh battery. Both phones will offer common features such as an OLED screen with a sharp 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage.

For photography, the Find X9 will come equipped with triple 50MP cameras on the back, including a periscope telephoto camera for high-zoom capabilities. The Find X9 Pro’s camera setup will comprise the all-new 50MP Sony LYT-828 main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto camera.

The Find X9 series will also include the Find X9 Ultra, expected to launch in the second quarter of 2026. However, it remains uncertain whether the Ultra variant will be released outside China.

Other upcoming flagships

The Dimensity 9500 chipset will also power the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, which are expected to launch in India before the end of this year.

Apart from these, India will also see the arrival of three Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered flagships in the coming weeks, such as the Realme GT 8 Pro, OnePlus 15, and iQOO 15.

While the iQOO 15 is expected to launch in November, its exact date remains unknown. Reports suggest the Realme GT 8 Pro may debut on November 11, followed by the OnePlus 15 on November 13.
