Oppo Find X9 series to launch next month with key upgrades

Oppo is all set to launch its Find X9 series in China. The Oppo Find X9 series will arrive next month, and we finally have a date. The design and key features of the series have also been revealed, and we are looking at some serious performance and camera upgrades. Here’s all you need to know.

Oppo Find X9 launch date, key features

The Oppo Find X9 is set to launch on October 16 in China. Upon its China launch, we expect it to go global. Since the Oppo Find X8 series is already available in India, we expect the X9 series to also launch in the country sometime later.

The Oppo X9 series will comprise at least two models, the Find X9 and the Find X9 Pro. The duo may come powered by the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. So, be it gaming or extended usage, the X9 series is expected to handle it all.

The series is also expected to feature a new screen called the ‘Tianma screen’. This display is designed to offer improved eye protection, thanks to the new-gen flicker-free dimming technology. It’s said to offer true one nit brightness in all scenarios.

Other than this, the X9 series is rumoured to get bigger batteries. The Oppo X9 may feature a 7,025mAh cell, whereas the X9 Pro may get a 7,500mAh battery. These are some serious upgrades when compared to the predecessor X8 Pro’s 5,910mAh battery.

The cameras will also be upgraded, and the Pro may get the LYT-828 main sensor that supports dynamic triple exposure. It’s also said to get a 200MP ultra-clear telephoto unit. The camera system is said to get the Oppo LUMO super-pixel engine, while retaining the Hasselblad branding.
