Upcoming Vivo X series flagship to offer performance backed by Dimensity 9500

Vivo is gearing up to launch its next flagship smartphone, and it’s confirmed to pack the most powerful Dimensity chipset yet. Likely called the Vivo X300 series, the X200 successor models, may also get the new V3+ imaging chip and feature an impressive camera system. Here’s all you need to know.

Everything we know so far about the Vivo X300 series

MediaTek confirmed the launch of its next flagship chipset called the Dimensity 9500. The same chipset is confirmed to power the upcoming Vivo X300 and X300 Pro phones. Notably, the existing Vivo X200 lineup has the Dimensity 9400 chipset. Having said that, expect performance upgrades.

As per a recent GeekBench test, the X300 managed to score 3,177 single-core points and 9,701 multi-core points. Now, that’s impressive. Additionally, we now know that the Pro model, at least, will get a maxed-out 16GB RAM option.

The Vivo X300 Pro is also said to feature the company’s first V3+ ISP, offering improved processing for photos. Other features include Android 16 OS out of the box and support for AirDrop-style file sharing that works across Android and Apple devices.

As of now, the details about the Vivo X300 series are scarce, but we should learn more as we move closer to its release. The X300 lineup is expected to launch later this year in China, followed by global regions.
