Honor has announced its latest flagship lineup of phones, the Magic 8 series. The series features the Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro, both having premium features, like a large battery, smooth performance, and clean aesthetics.
If you are looking for flagship phones that are maxed out on performance and features, stick around to know everything about the Magic 8 series.
What’s special about the Honor Magic 8 series
The Honor Magic 8 series takes a different route from its predecessors. Instead of a curved screen, the phones flaunt a flat OLED panel that stretches 6.78-inches with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The new display design gives the phone a clean, modern look while improving durability and grip.
At its core, the series is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. On the camera front, both have a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP + 50MP (ultrawide) + 200MP (telephoto) setup on the Pro. The vanilla Magic 8 gets a 64MP telephoto instead of a 200MP unit.
Battery life is another big highlight. The Magic 8 houses a 7,000mAh battery, whereas the Pro gets a 7,200mAh cell. Both have 80W wireless charging. The Magic 8 gets 90W wired, and the Magic 8 Pro gets 100W wireless fast charging.
Both phones also feature a metal frame and a glass back, adding to their premium feel. The series runs Magic UI based on Android 16.

As for the price, the Honor Magic 8 starts at CNY 4,499 (about Rs 55,400) for the base variant. The Magic 8 Pro, on the other hand, starts at CNY 5,699 (about Rs 70,200) for the base variant. Both phones are currently only available in China, and it’s unclear if they’ll launch in India anytime soon.
But you can check out the OnePlus 13 and the Oppo Find X8 in the same price range. Although both have different chips, but day-to-day performance is snappy on these.
