How to check out your ChatGPT Wrapped

OpenAI is officially rolling out Your Year with ChatGPT, which is essentially Spotify Wrapped but for your conversations with the AI. Do note that the feature is currently locked to a few regions and it isn’t clear if more regions will be supported.

Supported nations currently include the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. To check if you’re one of the lucky few, follow the steps below.

Here is how you actually find it

* First off, you need to be on a Free, Plus, or Pro plan. Those of you on Team, Education, or Enterprise accounts are sadly out of luck here.

* Simply open the mobile app on iOS or Android, or head to the web interface.

* Look for the promo banner on the home screen.

* If that isn’t showing up, just ask the chatbot directly for “Your Year with ChatGPT” to trigger it.

* Crucially, you must have “reference saved memories” and “reference chat history” enabled.

* If those settings were off, or you simply didn’t talk to the bot enough, this won’t work.

What you might see

Once you actually get inside, this is pretty entertaining. It assigns you specific “awards” based on your prompts. For example, if you constantly used the tool to fix code or brainstorm, you might get the “Creative Debugger” badge. It also sorts you into archetypes.

One highly reported one is the “Navigator,” which apparently accounts for about 22.9 per cent of users. The system even generates a custom image and a poem based on your specific interests.

This really caps off a wild year for the company. Between the launch of GPT-5 and the valuation hitting $830 billion, things have been incredibly busy. They also released that open weights model, GPT-OSS, while facing heat from Google’s Gemini 3.
