HP has launched the new Omen 16 2025 model in India, and it’s no joke. The new Omen machine is for professional gamers, including esports players and those who enjoy story modes.
Owing to this, the gaming laptop comes with a fast display, a mix of Intel and Ryzen power, and RTX 5070 Ti to handle all the graphical work. Here’s all you need to know about the new HP Omen 16.
HP Omen 16 packs serious power and gaming aesthetics
The HP Omen 16 features a larger footprint and is a bit chunky, given it’s a performance beast. The laptop sports a 16-inch display with a QHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. The screen has a 3ms response time and the brightness reaches 500 nits.
What powers the machine is the Intel Core Ultra chipset; however, users also get an AMD Ryzen-powered variant. Both variants pack the RTX 5070 Ti GPU, which has 12GB of memory to handle gaming.

Due to the laptop’s thicker base, it packs a vapour chamber that enables Omen Tempest Cooling. As for endurance, it is equipped with an 83Wh 6-cell battery with support for HP Fast Charge. The laptop boots on Windows 11 and comes with AI features, like Copilot, Recall, and more.
