Kodak IconiK series 65-inch Mini QD Google TV: Specs and features
The new Kodak IconiK 65-inch TV (model number K65Mini5020) features a bezel-less design that aims to provide an immersive viewing experience. It carries a 65-inch 4K display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel integrates Mini LED backlighting with Quantum Dot technology and includes 288 local dimming zones for improved contrast control.
Kodak claims peak brightness levels of up to 1500 nits, alongside Ultra Wide Color Gamut support with 1.1 billion colors. HDR formats include Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG, with Dolby Vision-Atmos support enhancing picture and audio synchronisation. Gaming-oriented features such as VRR and ALLM are also present for smoother visuals.
Powering the TV is a MediaTek processor paired with a Mali-G52 GPU, combined with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage to manage apps and system performance. The television runs on the Google TV platform, offering access to thousands of applications via the Google Play Store, along with Google Assistant voice commands, built-in Chromecast, and Apple AirPlay support for wireless streaming.
Audio performance is handled by a six-speaker setup supported by two subwoofers, delivering a combined output of 108W with Dolby Atmos support. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI ports with eARC support, two USB ports, optical audio output, and an Ethernet port. The TV ships with a remote that includes quick-access keys and a dedicated mute button.
