Lenovo LP70 Pro are the latest TWS buds with a display built into the case

There was a time when a TWS case would only store the buds and charge them. But lately a couple of buds have been coming with a case that features a display. Joining this list is the latest Lenovo ThinkPlus Mini Colour Box Smart Touchscreen Bluetooth Earbuds aka LP70 Pro.

The buds’ highlight is its case with a built-in colour touch display. It will tell you what music is playing, let you control playback, manage calls, adjust volume, and even set alarms.

It will also help you locate a misplaced earbud. Lenovo is also adding personlisation options by giving users the ability to add their own wallpapers. This feature is something we haven’t come across on other TWS.

Coming to the earbuds, they feature an ergonomic design and are built using lightweight materials for extended comfort. They boast of 13mm composite diaphragm drivers that promise high-fidelity audio across all frequency ranges. In fact, the brand says that the buds also support 360-degree spatial audio.

Each earbud comes with a 30mAh battery under the hood that is said to offer up to four hours of playback on a single charge. The case, on the other hand, features a 500mAh battery that can boost the buds’ usage time to around 30 hours.

Other features include environmental noise cancellation during calls, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity support, and a dedicated low-latency gaming mode.

Lenovo LP70 Pro price, availability

Lenovo’s latest TWS are currently only available in the Chinese market with a price tag of 159 yuan, which roughly translates to Rs 1,900. Buyers will be able to choose between beige, black, and pink colourways.

But you don’t need to be in China to get your hands on a pair of TWS with a display built-in. The likes of JBL Live Beam 3 or the boAt Airdopes 181 Pro also come with a display in the case.
