If you’ve been keeping tabs on the gaming hardware scene, you probably know that Logitech G’s original Powerplay pad was already a favourite among competitive gamers. It solved a key pain point: keeping your wireless gaming mouse charged without ever needing to plug it in. Now, with the announcement of Powerplay 2, the brand is doubling down on performance, convenience, and affordability, bringing a thinner, more capable wireless charging solution to the table.
That’s a power move
For those who live and breathe gaming, uninterrupted play is non-negotiable. And that’s exactly what POWERPLAY 2 delivers. The new system retains the magic of continuous charging, even while you’re mid-flick or aiming down sights, by using a low-frequency electromagnetic field to power compatible mice. Just plug in the system, pop the upgraded Charging Coin into your mouse, and game on without ever having to think about battery life again.
The Powerplay 2 pad is now 3.5mm thin, making it one of the slimmest wireless charging surfaces out there, with a 15 per cent larger charging area to boot. Whether your style leans toward FPS or relaxed strategy, the slimmer design provides a more comfortable glide. It also works seamlessly with Logitech G’s Lightspeed wireless tech, so you’re not sacrificing responsiveness for convenience.
Mouse compatibility has also been expanded. Gamers can now use the Powerplay 2 with 10 Logitech G mice, including popular models like the Pro X Superlight 2 Dex, G502 X Plus, and G703. Plus, the Charging Coin can be swapped between devices, so you’re not locked into one setup.
